Loved the energy in the building last night! From staff, to PTO volunteers, community partnerships, Shear Blessings by Dr. G and of course, our students and their parents...the evening was electric!⚡️🔋❤️

Start of school is right around the corner! No better way to kick off the year then to get a fresh cut! To my SCJ Students, come by this Thursday from 2-6pm for a free cut by Dr. G! It is first come, first serve! He will cut hair until 6 pm! See you Thursday!

Girls on the Run was such a success last year, we are bringing it back for round two.
Our eight-week Girls on the Run season starts on September 14. The lottery registration opens on Monday! Open to girls in grades 3-5. Families will be notified on August 24 if their student is registered.

Mrs. Webb- Art Teacher, Mrs. Webb has been a great addition to our Specialist Team! Her creativity and care for her students is amazing! She helps our students create beautiful artwork that is displayed all over the building!

Mrs. Beutel and Ms. Chrissy- These 2 work to provide the most valuable and appropriate educational experience to many of our students! Every day presents its own challenges and no one day is like another! They utilize each other to stay flexible and creative to meet their kids needs each day!
Ms. Dee, Ms. Naomi and Ms. Sala(not pictured) - These 3 work so well together to grow their students academically and socially! Every day brings a different level of energy and they take turns leading creative strategies to always(or most of the time) stay one step ahead of their students!

Special Shoutout to 2 more amazing SCJ Staff members! Ms. Juanita and Mr. Henes!
Ms. Juanita, Attendance Clerk- She does so much more than just attendance! She is usually the 1st person that visitors come in contact with, she answers parent calls and concerns, is the treat keeper at the end of the day for students that have formed a bond with her. This is a special one because she will be starting her next chapter: Retirement! Thank you Ms. Juanita for so many things you do for staff, students and families! Wishing you all the best!
Mr. Henes, Phy Ed Teacher - Mr Henes is the epitome of a team player. Not only does he lead Phy Ed instruction every day, he also is the trusted adult for Check-in/Check-outs, takes extra classes on rotation days, takes extra classes on indoor recess day and is always flexible to the last minute assembly that cause his classes to move outside. Mr. Henes is an integral part of the success we are having here. Thank you for being a team player!
