I want to recognize 2 more amazing educators here at SCJ Elementary!
Mrs. Hamlet, 2nd Grade Teacher - Mrs. Hamlet is one of our wisest and reliable staff in the building! She is always a team player and one of the few that actually beats me to work in the morning! Her love for teaching is only matched by her love for her students! SCJ and her students are lucky to have her!
Mrs. Hallblade, Special Ed Teacher - She works tirelessly to meet both the compliance and the compassion that her job asks for! She truly is passionate about her purpose to teach and reach all the students on her caseload. She maximizes every minute of the day to squeeze in as much care and teaching she can so her students have the best chance to succeed! Thank you Mrs. Hallblade for all you do!

Ms. Glenn, 1st Grade Teacher - She always has the "IT" factor when reaching and teaching her students! She is always willing to help colleagues but specializes in meeting and teaching all her students! Ms. Glenn is a magician when it comes to engaging our students!
Ms. Azurmendi, Dual Language Title Teacher - She is so much more than that! She works will many students to help them reach their specific academic goals! She is such a wise educator! She is willing to help any and all staff and students! Ms. Fabiana is a tremendous team player and we are thankful to have her on our team!

Mr. Reed - 4/5 Split Dual Language: He has been such an instrumental leader and rock for our dual language program! He brings years of stellar instruction and relationships with families! He is always there to help in anyway that is best for the Team!
Mr. Ortiz - Building Sub, Dual Language: Mr. Ortiz just shows up and helps wherever needed! He has most recently assisted with 2nd Grade DL long term and that class hasn’t skipped a beat! He is always positive and willing to assist any colleague!

Horlick Theater Arts announces Young Performer Auditions for Frozen: The Broadway Musical! ❄️⛄️ Students in grades 3–8 are invited to audition and participate in this magical theatrical experience.

Countdown continues...2 days until Holiday Break! We would like to take the time to recognize Ms. Jordann and Ms. Gename.
Ms. Jordann- Special Ed EA- Ms. Jordann has been a huge help with provide an equitable educational experience to her students that need a little extra support! She brings a positive vibe and is always willing to help where we need her!
Ms. Gename- 4th Grade Teacher- Better known as Ms. G, she has been instrumental in aligning curriculum and assisting our new staff at grade level with lesson planning to testing! She has a huge heart for kids and utilizes positive rewards as a tool to reengage kids into the learning activities!
