We got thru the crazy storms so it is time for special shout-outs to Ms. Rheanna and Ms. Ledesma! Ms. Rheanna, Literacy Educational Assistant - Her primary job is to work with our students on growing and teaching their reading goals! However, she does so much more than just that! She helps any all students in their daily journey! She helps in multiple classes, lunchroom and after school! She is always willing to help wherever needed! Students and staff alike appreciate her being on our team! Ms. Ledesma, 4k Dual Language Assistant - She is such a caring and trusted person for our youngest learners! She always brings a smile and a positive attitude every day! She works in tandem with her team to make sure every student in her class feels safe, loved and eager to learn! She has been such a rock for our very important 4k DL program! Ms. Bak, Speech Path- Her detail, care, passion and work to help all her students communicate more efficiently is amazing! She has had so many students "graduate" out of her services and continues to reach more and more! In celebration of National Women in Construction Week, Hunzinger Construction Company visited Goodland Montessori and S.C. Johnson Elementary yesterday. Team members, including Horlick alum and Hunzinger Project Manager Meagan DeGroot, read construction-themed books to K-4 students and shared insights about careers in construction.

Hunzinger is currently leading renovations at Goodland Montessori and recently completed work at SC Johnson Elementary as part of RUSD’s 2020 Referendum, making this a meaningful and inspiring connection for our students. #YouBelongHere
