Join us as we count down to the end of the school year beginning Tuesday, May 5th. 🏫🎒🚸😎
This is intended for all grades K-8, including staff. 😀😊😀
A printed copy will be sent home with your child's grades K-5 early next week (they are being delivered from our Printshop asap). For middle school, a stack will be in the office for students and staff to pick up.

Starbuck's International Baccalaureate (IB) students made an impact this year with their capstone projects!
For the IB Primary Years Programme Exhibition, students showcased what they learned through inquiry, explored real-world issues that mattered to them, took meaningful action, and shared their learning with the community.
Through the IB Middle Years Programme Community Project, students identified a need in our community, planned and completed a meaningful project, worked independently, and reflected on the impact they made along the way.
Students, we're proud of the work you did to make our world a better place! 🌎🕊️ #YouBelongHere

We are incredibly proud of a group of our 8th grade students who recently completed their MYP Community Project by designing, building, and donating Leopold benches to the Racine Urban Garden Network.
The benches were delivered to one of the network's community gardens that had recently renovated several garden beds but did not have a seating area for volunteers and visitors to enjoy the space. Garden leaders and volunteers were thrilled to receive this thoughtful donation!
This project is a wonderful example of the IB mission in action. Our students identified a community need, used their skills and creativity to address it, and took meaningful action to make a positive impact.
Thank you to our students for demonstrating what it means to be caring, principled, and committed to serving others. We are proud of the difference you are making in the Racine community!

As reading scores in Wisconsin continue to decline, we have made noticeable gains at Racine Unified!
A renewed focus on early literacy has put our change in Reading Achievement on an upward trajectory for 3rd-8th-grade students since 2023. During that same time, the average of similar districts has fallen and leveled off.

Visit Chick-fil-A tomorrow to celebrate the PYP and MYP IB showcase. Be sure to say you are with Starbuck International, so we earn funds! Come inside to visit our students or go through the drive-thru for more convenience. 🌍

Hello Starbuck Families,
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair is coming next week, and we are so excited for this year’s event! This fair is especially exciting because Scholastic is offering a BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE sale on select books as they make room for new inventory. This is a wonderful opportunity to help get more books into students’ hands for summer reading while also supporting our school.
To help make the book fair successful, we are looking for parent and family volunteers to assist throughout the week with helping students shop, organizing books, and supporting check-out.
If you are available to volunteer, please sign up here: Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up
Even volunteering for a short shift can make a huge difference and help create a fun experience for our students. Thank you for supporting reading at Starbuck and helping us make this event a success for our students and families!
