As reading scores in Wisconsin continue to decline, we have made noticeable gains at Racine Unified!
A renewed focus on early literacy has put our change in Reading Achievement on an upward trajectory for 3rd-8th-grade students since 2023. During that same time, the average of similar districts has fallen and leveled off.

Visit Chick-fil-A tomorrow to celebrate the PYP and MYP IB showcase. Be sure to say you are with Starbuck International, so we earn funds! Come inside to visit our students or go through the drive-thru for more convenience. 🌍

Hello Starbuck Families,
Our Spring Scholastic Book Fair is coming next week, and we are so excited for this year’s event! This fair is especially exciting because Scholastic is offering a BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE sale on select books as they make room for new inventory. This is a wonderful opportunity to help get more books into students’ hands for summer reading while also supporting our school.
To help make the book fair successful, we are looking for parent and family volunteers to assist throughout the week with helping students shop, organizing books, and supporting check-out.
If you are available to volunteer, please sign up here: Book Fair Volunteer Sign-Up
Even volunteering for a short shift can make a huge difference and help create a fun experience for our students. Thank you for supporting reading at Starbuck and helping us make this event a success for our students and families!
