We are excited to invite our 4th grade students to a special 4th Grade Party!

⏰ Time: 6:00–7:30 PM
📍 Location: Starbuck International School

This event is for 4th grade students only (no siblings) and will be a drop-off event, meaning families can drop students off at 6:00 PM and pick them up at 7:30 PM.

The party is sponsored by our PTSA and organized by parent volunteers, and we are looking forward to providing a fun opportunity for our students to connect and celebrate together!

🏊‍♀️ 4th Annual Swim & Dive Camp 🏊‍♂️

Good afternoon, Starbuck families!

We’re excited to share an opportunity for our students to stay active, build confidence, and have fun this summer! The 4th Annual Swim & Dive Camp is open to RUSD students entering 5th–8th grade, and all skill levels are welcome—whether your child is brand new or looking to grow their skills.

📅 Camp Details:
June 15–18, 2026
2:00–3:30 PM
📍 Aquatic Center (7567 Washington Ave, Mt. Pleasant)

This camp is a great way for students to learn from experienced coaches, connect with peers, and enjoy a supportive, engaging environment.

Some of our teachers have been trained to offer voluntary home visits as part of a statewide initiative through We Lead Wisconsin. These visits are a chance for your child’s teacher to connect with your family and learn more about your hopes and dreams for your child.

This is not about academics or concerns—it’s about building relationships and working together to support your child.

Yearbook Cover Design Contest
DUE FRIDAY, April 24th!

Please follow the contest parameters below:
Please place your student name, grade, and homeroom number on the back of the contest paper (cardstock)
Materials and media to be used: cardstock paper, use colored pencils or markers (no pastels or watercolors)
No pencil or eraser marks should show through
Dimensions: leave a blank (non-decorated) ½ inch border around page
Design/paper should be vertical (portrait)
Review for spelling and grammar

🐾 Summer Camp Opportunity + Scholarships Available! 🐾

Looking for a fun, hands-on summer experience for your child? The Racine Humane Society is offering weeklong summer camps for students in grades 1–9 who love animals!

Campers will:
✨ Meet and interact with animals
✨ Learn about animal care, safety, and behavior
✨ Participate in games, crafts, and hands-on activities
✨ Explore careers like becoming a veterinarian

There are different camp options based on grade level, including beginner camps for younger students and even a Junior Veterinary Camp for older students interested in animal careers.

Families can apply for a scholarship through April 15th using the link below. Scholarships are available to help make camp accessible for all students.
