Today is Internet Safety Day. Child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) is a horrific crime that targets some of the most vulnerable people in our communities — children and teens. Resources for education, prevention and intervention of CSEA can be found at https://www.dhs.gov/know2protect
If you know of an incident, you can report it at the bottom of any Know2Protect webpage, by calling 988 for crisis support or 911 for an emergency.
The attached list provides ten steps you can take to prevent CSEA and create a safe digital experience for your child.

Early Student Check-Out Reminder
We strongly encourage all students to remain at school for the full instructional day whenever possible. The end of the day includes important learning, closure activities, and routines that support student success and safety. Leaving early can result in missed instruction, assessments, and important directions for the following day, as well as disrupt classroom learning.
If you do need to check your student out early, we ask that you contact the office before 2:50 p.m. After this time, dismissal procedures are underway and staff are moving to end-of-day duties. As a result, we may not be able to retrieve students in a timely manner, and families may need to wait until regular dismissal at 3:41 p.m.
Thank you for helping us protect instructional time and ensure a safe, organized dismissal for all students.
