Mitchell & United Way of Racine County, have partnered with RUSD and the Racine County Food Bank to host a pop-up food pantry for our community school families. The pop-up food pantry is on Tuesday, November 25 from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Mitchell St from our middle school small gym.
Students from our Academies of Racine Middle School Prototyping/Engineering classes went to Gateway Technical College's SC Johnson iMET yesterday to experience careers and programs related to what they are learning in class.
Students explored coding, robotics, virtual reality, the Industrial Internet of Things, Esports and more! #YouBelongHere

👩🔬 The STEM girls had a blast visiting Carthage College’s Engineering Department! They designed parachutes to keep an egg safe during a drop—testing their aerodynamics skills and creativity🪂🥚 Lunch on campus was the perfect way to wrap up a fun, hands-on day in engineering. 💡💪

We welcomed educators from the Museum of Science and Industry, who led a hands-on lesson about microplastics in our water systems. Students tested samples from both tap water and Lake Michigan, learning firsthand what it takes to clean and filter our water. 💧
We’re looking forward to continuing our exploration this spring with a visit to the Blue Paradox exhibit at the museum! 🌊
