We had the opportunity to teach English to some of our newcomers alongside their parents.

💛 Watching families learn together was truly special. Parents practiced their English skills with their children across all four domains—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—and seeing them support each other was inspiring.

We wrapped up the session sharing hot chocolate and a conchita, which made the experience even sweeter. ☕️🍞

Although pumpkin season has come and gone, we wanted to give a huge shoutout to Swan's Pumpkin Farm for their donation of pumpkins for our family engagement activity. This Thanksgiving season, we are very grateful for the wonderful families and students in our 3K/4K Dual Language classroom. We are thankful for the strong relationships we've formed to help our students succeed in school and at home. Thank you families!

Mitchell & United Way of Racine County, have partnered with RUSD and the Racine County Food Bank to host a pop-up food pantry for our community school families. The pop-up food pantry is on Tuesday, November 25 from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Mitchell St from our middle school small gym.
