Ms. R’s class had so much fun during a special read-aloud with Ms. Day! After the story, students used their imaginations to create their very own insects. 🐞🦋 They learned that insects can do all kinds of cool things like fly, jump, bite, eat, and carry things.

Our 4th–6th grade students took part in an exciting hands-on experience with The Hour of AI! 🎉💻

Students solved breakout-style challenges to unlock clues before coding a micro:bit. Along the way, they explored what AI is, how it can help, what information is safe to share, and how to evaluate AI-generated data.

This experience was made possible by a generous grant from Microsoft. We’re grateful for their support and for our amazing RUSD staff who helped make it a success!
