It was a big weekend for Case High School Eagle Theater students! On Saturday, Oct. 26, Case Eagle Theater students competed in the District 12 Wisconsin High School Theater competition with the original Case musical, Comedy Attack, and advanced to sectional competition!
The musical was written in 2013 and was the first original musical to compete in the Wisconsin High School Theater Competition. This story is about two opposites, Becky and Anja, as they spend a week at a Comedy Camp where they come into conflict after facing their deepest secrets and personal biases. It follows both girls and the rest of the campers as they navigate their way through their radically different perspectives on race, relationships, and social circumstances.
Come see the public performance of Comedy Attack at the Case High School Eagle Theater on November 15 & 16 at 7 p.m. and November 17 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students, staff and senior citizens.

In addition, students of the Case YES Club performed an original piece "Know Your Rights" for Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and the audience at the Voces Gala. This annual event was held at the Harley-Davidson Museum where approximately 575 people gathered to celebrate volunteers who go above and beyond to serve and protect human rights in our community. The student's powerful performance brought people to tears and onto their feet once the piece ended. Governor Evers was scheduled to leave immediately after speaking but changed his mind after meeting the Case students and stayed to watch the entire performance.
