The new app, ‘First View 1.0,’ is available to download for free for both Android and Apple users. Due to the extreme cold warning issued by the National Weather Service, all schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 21. This day will be made up on Monday, Feb. 17 in place of the winter break day. Thank you for your understanding and stay warm.

Tonight, the RUSD Board of Education approved placing a referendum on the April 1 ballot. The proposed 5-year, $190 million non-recurring referendum would: - Prevent cutting programs like the Academies of Racine and protect smaller class sizes - Attract and retain excellent teachers and staff who are essential for delivering high-quality education - Invest in the safety and security of our schools This referendum is needed because for more than a decade state funding has fallen short, and more and more districts are forced to pass referendums to balance budgets.
