Schulte Families:
Please see the following correction to the post about Extended Learning. Schulte will not have Extended Learning today (Thursday) or tomorrow. This was a site based decision that was misinterpreted to include the entire district. Please check with your child's school directly if there is programming after school today. There will not be any at Schulte today. Thank you, and happy holidays!
A combination of snow and wind will hit our area right in the heart of after-school bussing today, likely creating slick roads and reduced visibility. Our bus drivers will be cautious (as always) but please know students may be late arriving home.

The days are getting shorter, the sun is shining less and these seasonal changes can definitely take a toll on our mental health. The good news is, there are ways to curb not only the winter blues, but also promote mental wellness all year round.
RUSD Parent University invites you to learn more about mental health at all ages, discover resources and ask questions about this important health topic at our next virtual session that you can join here: https://meet.google.com/rks-faeo-zgx. It’s taking place Thursday, Dec. 12 from 6 - 7 p.m. We hope to see you there!

Please see the flyer about the Dan and Ray Thanksgiving Dinner.

For the second year in a row, RUSD has improved its report card score - this year by 3.5 points. This score is just one of many signs of growth and achievement in results across the district. Click here to learn more: https://www.rusd.org/article/1883297

Let's have some FUN during lunch!
Next week Friday (9/20/24) we are hosting a fun Third Friday event for our students! Aramark will provide every student with an opportunity to enjoy a walking taco for lunch if they wish. Jackson's Cool Cups will be on the playground to give away sno cones to students that want one. We will also have ice cream on hand to pass out to those that may not get a sno cone or that want ice cream instead.
Thank you to our PTA volunteers for helping us make this a successful event.
