We’re counting on you to be in school Friday, Sept. 20! This is one of the most important school days of the year because it’s the day the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction counts all students to determine how much funding your child’s school will receive to provide a quality education. Help your school get critical funds by making sure your child is in their classroom, on time, Friday, Sept. 20. This is un-BEE-lievable! Fratt Elementary had its first sighting of the federally endangered Rusty Patched Bumblebee in their Pollinator Patch! While the primary goal of these patches is promoting water quality through native plants, the second mission is bringing awareness to/providing habitat for the Rusty. The Rusty's range has shrunk by almost 90% over the last 20 years and Wisconsin is the last hope for the conservation of this species. The Extended Learning 24-25 Student Registration Link is open: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScQIuDYOoPdw-rkYXjnrrQJkHRg99F2uyQHBj5XJLyDBT_rDg/viewform Please note: Our Site Leads and Clerks will start working mid-August so confirmation letters/emails will go out starting the end of August. Extended Learning Programs will begin on Monday, September 9th. The program runs Monday-Thursday 2:21-5:05PM. Registration is open all year (each site has limited spaces available and will keep waiting lists once full). Students in K-5th grade will be placed in our after-school program. Our after-school programs vary by site. Some sites have structured academic enrichment in place along with other fun activities, while others will just have the activities. Activities range from tabletop games, arts, fitness, science, and more. There is limited space for each grade. If your child is accepted into the program, you will receive a confirmation letter by email or phone from the Site Lead or Clerk. Enrollment will continue throughout the year if/when spaces become available. The confirmation letter will have your child(ren)'s start date listed.
