ESL
The English as a Second Language (ESL) program at Starbuck Middle School helps students who speak a language other than English at home become bilingual and bi-literate and achieve high levels of success academically, linguistically and socially. The goal of the ESL program is to improve the students' understanding of English. Students enter with various levels of English proficiency. The ESL staff are dedicated to helping our students not only reach the RUSD North Star Vision but do so as successful bilingual young adults.
World Language
Starbuck offers both Spanish and French. IB students are required to take a World Language all three years while at Starbuck.
