Good Morning Wadewitz Famlies.

Just a friendly reminder that we have Parent Teacher Conferences this evening from 4-8 pm and tomorrow from 8-11:30 am. We also have our Wadewitz Summer Showcase going on from 5-7 pm tonight. This will showcase some of the Racine Summer oppertunities to keep kiddos busy this summer.

This is also a reminder that there is no extended learning after school today.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Spring Break! We will see everyone back on April 13th.

This week was the Racine Police Department's Love Week! Officer Hood has been surprising a staff member at each RUSD school with a Sunshine Award, flowers and a gift certificate. ❤❤❤ For the last four years, Love Week has recognized those who have made a major impact on our community. This year Wadewitz was able to recognize four staff members for the impact they have on our school community. Susan Wirshing, Stacey Karnowski, Anna Nielsen, and Celia Piper are the definition of love and compassion. It's impossible to think of those two words and not picture these extraordinary staff members. They are a huge part of what makes Wadewitz the place to be! Today is Internet Safety Day. Child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA) is a horrific crime that targets some of the most vulnerable people in our communities — children and teens. Resources for education, prevention and intervention of CSEA can be found at https://www.dhs.gov/know2protect

If you know of an incident, you can report it at the bottom of any Know2Protect webpage, by calling 988 for crisis support or 911 for an emergency.
