🗓️Aug. 15: 2025-26 schedules and other info released in Infinite Campus Parent Portal
🚌Aug. 25: Last day to update your address to ensure busing on first day of school (changes made after this date may take up to 8 days)
🏫Aug. 28: Open House (check your school’s website for additional information)
🍎Sept. 2: First day of school (Grades 1-12) / Parent Orientation Day (3K, 4K, 5K, PCOC)
🍎Sept. 3: First day of school (3K, 4K, 5K PCOC) for students with last names A-L
🍎Sept. 4: First day of school (3K, 4K, 5K, PCOC) for students with last names M-Z
🍎Sept. 5: All 3K, 4K, 5K and PCOC students attend

What a meaningful experience for our RAL students! They had the opportunity to hear author Ebony Haynes, whose previous work includes "Dear Black Boy It's Ok to Cry," read her powerful second book, "Dear Black Girl I See You." This uplifts Black girls with messages of resilience and strength. The chance to get signed copies made it even more special. This book encourages self-love and confidence for everyone.

Here's some of the fastest art on four wheels you'll ever see! Racine Alternative Learning's RAE HS, SPURRS Elementary, and SEO MS / HS students participated in a Pinewood Derby with custom-designed cars. Tomorrow, the residents of the Racine Unified School District will be asked to vote on a proposed operational referendum that will impact our schools, our students and the entire community. If approved, this referendum will protect class sizes and vital programs, attract and retain high-quality teachers and staff, and invest in the safety and security of our schools. FREE Prom Dress Boutique! Belle of the Ball is once again providing FREE prom dresses! No appointments are needed - just show up and find your dream dress! ❤ Dates: March 29: 9am - 4pm March 30: 11am - 3pm Location: 212 4th St. Racine (the old Journal Times building) Belle of the Ball is a collaborative event hosted by Express Personnel, YPR and Girls Inc. of SE Wisconsin.
