As the 2025-26 school year quickly approaches, this is a reminder that Wisconsin law requires that children enrolled in public schools provide proof of age-appropriate immunizations (vaccinations). These links provide easy-to-read charts outlining which immunizations your child should have based on their age:

The Racine County Health Department has also created A Parent’s Guide to Childhood Vaccines (Spanish), which provides a wealth of information about immunizations. Immunizations are covered by most health insurance plans. If you do not have health insurance or your health insurance does not cover immunizations, please contact the City of Racine Health Department at 262-636-9201, or the Racine County Health Department at 262-898-4460 to inquire about costs and options.

You may obtain the required documentation of your child’s immunization record by asking your provider to complete the Student Immunization Record / Registro de Vacunación del Estudiante. If your child has received their immunizations in the state of Wisconsin, you may find their immunization record online by visiting the Wisconsin Immunization Registry.
