On Thursday Nov. 17th, the Juniors in the Business Pathway at Park attended the MINI Business World field trip at the Omni Hotel.

MINI Business World is a one-day immersive program where students practice building a business from the ground up. Students come up with a full business plan including creating a new product, building a prototype, creating a marketing plan, and forming a budget. Students leave MINI Business World with a better understanding of business principles, entrepreneurship, career opportunities in Wisconsin, and the important role businesses play in our communities.

During the presentations, the team of Amanda Avis, Jordyn Williams, and DJ Williams beat out all the other teams with their product of a self cleaning water bottle, Self Shine. Congratulations! #PantherPride #onthehunt #letseat

On November 11, Park High School proudly hosted the fall MAPS (Milwaukee Area Physics Share) meeting, bringing together physics teachers from across the region — including Milwaukee, Shorewood, Greendale, St. Francis, Oak Creek, Franklin, Westosha Central, and Racine.

The gathering served as a Professional Learning Community (PLC), where educators shared ideas, teaching strategies, and classroom resources to strengthen physics instruction and student engagement. It was a wonderful opportunity for teachers to network, collaborate, and continue growing in their profession.

Congrats to our Park Staff of the Week, Stephen Quirke! Mr. Quirke is an art teacher but also helps with our Art Club and leads our ETC Club. Most recently he has assisted in getting student involved with a mural project in uptown Racine. Quirke is incredibly passionate and will helps us create such a welcoming school for all students. This can be seen with different events he will run with ETC. He has routinely worked on a anti-gun project with his art metal classes and has a near perfect pass rate with his AP Studio Art class. Park is a better place with him here and we appreciate the work he puts in. #onthehunt #PantherPride #letseat
