Today, Park's AP Research students attended UW-Parkside to begin indepth research on their individual topics. 📖📚

In AP Research, students pick a research question, identify a research gap, use ethical methodologies, and collect or analyze evidence over the full academic year. From there, AP Research students maintain a portfolio to document their ongoing inquiry, skill development, and reflections.

There is no better class than AP Research that will prepare students more for college. Today was great day in helping our students become #CollegeReady #ALLIN

HaileyJade Cook: Student has been an outstanding role model for her peers, participates in drama club, and does her absolute best. She is an overall ACE.

Amariah Hatley: Amariah is a great student who is always on task. She is mature and is a natural leader in class. She also is willing to help other students and is a great role model.

Ellis Beavers: Ellis has had a great attitude and has been infectious. Youth Apprenticeship Program needed student volunteers to create a promotional video; he accepted and was ready within 30 minutes!

Jamon Barnes: Jamon comes to class before Ms. Fortune time, checks in, then goes, comes back quietly and gets to work! He got an A on his math test too! See less
