Current Sophomores and Juniors interested in learning more about Youth Apprenticeship Opportunities can speak directly with multiple employers and apply for open positions. LAST WEEK!!!: Senior Advisory Teachers and Students: Our March $$$$$ Madness FAFSA submission contest starts March 3 and runs through March 31 at 9:30 am. Senior advisories with 86% or higher of FAFSA submission rates will get a pizza lunch on April 3rd. Senior advisory teachers with an advisory class of 100% submission will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card. **Multiple gift cards available Seniors: Check out the MANY scholarships available and make sure to submit your FAFSA ASAP. Juniors: Opt In now for UW Direct Admit Every week, five randomly selected students will be chosen from five different classrooms for an attendance prize. In order to receive the reward, the student must be present and have arrived to class on time. If the student is not present, the prize will be forfeited. Students will be called down over the PA. They should report to Ms. Quebbeman's office in the library for their prize - Horlick’s Attendance Team Seniors, once you have decided where you will be attending college, you will need to request your Final Transcript You only need to request ONE final transcript once you have made your final college decision. Seniors, to be honored at the senior banquet, you need to report any scholarships, awards and student financial aid you receive. Report Awards HERE Wisconsin GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a program to support underrepresented students in preparing for postsecondary education and life after high school. GEAR UP provides students with one-on-one mentoring and advising, workshops on college readiness, and travel opportunities including college tours, summer camps, and trips across the nation. These services and travel opportunities are always FREE for GEAR UP students and their Families. Students who may be eligible to join GEAR UP include those who are from groups underrepresented in higher education, first-generation students (neither parent/ guardian completed a four-year college degree), students who are eligible for free or reduced school meals, students with disabilities, and those who are English Language Learners.
