This week, hundreds of students at Mitchell, Olympia Brown, Gifford, Schulte and Jerstad-Agerholm celebrated the completion of Everfi's Financial Literacy courses with Educators Credit Union!

Students showed off their financial knowledge with a series of games that highlighted their ability to make smart money decisions. To make things better, 82% of these students completed BOTH Everfi courses. 🎉

THANK YOU to Everfi, Educators Credit Union and the volunteers who made this program possible for our students. #YouBelongHere

As reading scores in Wisconsin continue to decline, we have made noticeable gains at Racine Unified!

A renewed focus on early literacy has put our change in Reading Achievement on an upward trajectory for 3rd-8th-grade students since 2023. During that same time, the average of similar districts has fallen and leveled off.

A graph displaying the change in Reading Achievement sind 2019 for 3-8 grade students. A notable takeaway is starting at 2023, test scores for RUSD began to climb while the average of the scores for Madison, Kenosha, Waukesha, Neenah and Green Bay's school districts continued to fall.
Attention Gifford families with students grades 2-5!

Hello RUSD Families,
The JI Case Boys Soccer Booster Club, Inc. is pleased to announce that we will be hosting two, week-long coed soccer summer camps for students who were 2nd through 5th grade students in the 2025.2026 school year.
These camps will be player-led, with support, supervision, and guidance provided by adult coaches and parent volunteers. The cost is $150 per week, per student, which includes a camp t-shirt and daily lunch. There are limited spots open each week, so sign up soon to ensure your spot.

As this camp also serves as a fundraiser for the program, we are unfortunately unable to offer scholarships at this time.

The camp theme, “Big Goals Start Here,” reflects our commitment to helping young athletes stay active, build skills, and grow their love for the game this summer.
We look forward to a fun and rewarding experience for all participants.

Regards,
The Case Boys Soccer Booster Club

Gators Curtain Call Boosters (GCCB), in partnership with the Racine Unified School District, is excited to launch our Sponsor a Seat fundraiser in support of the Gifford School auditorium.
GCCB is a dedicated theater booster organization committed to supporting the Gifford School theater program by fostering community engagement, meeting program needs, and promoting a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts among our students.
Our auditorium is a vital space within our school and community. It hosts music concerts, elementary and middle school theater productions, awards ceremonies, school gatherings, and many other meaningful events. While this space has served generations of students, the current seating dates back to the 1960s and is in need of replacement to ensure comfort, safety, and accessibility for all guests.
Through our Sponsor a Seat campaign, you have the opportunity to be a lasting part of the auditorium's much needed refresh. Your support will directly impact the comfort, accessibility, and overall experience of every student, family, and audience member who enters our auditorium.
We sincerely thank you for your continued support of our students and programs. Together, we can create a space that reflects the pride, talent, and spirit of our Gifford community.
Sincerely, Gators Curtain Call Boosters (GCCB)
