Middle school is a big transition. Why not make it an opportunity to find a school that fits your child?

Racine Unified offers several School Choice options for students entering middle school, each with its own focus, opportunities and personality.

Your child could explore:

• Fine arts at Gilmore

• International Baccalaureate at Starbuck

• STEAM at Red Apple

• Engineering, arts and leadership at REAL

• College prep at Walden

See where they could go next! Throughout November, our choice schools are hosting District Discovery Days where families can visit, ask questions and experience each school for themselves. Can’t make it to a scheduled event? Request a personal tour of the school so you can visit on your time.

Your child is one of a kind. Their middle school can be too.

Explore your options. Find your fit. Apply for School Choice Nov. 1-30.

Already attending a choice school? If your child currently attends a choice school, there is no need to reapply each year. However, if you have a younger sibling who is not yet enrolled at your school of choice, you will need to submit a separate school choice application for them.
