Senior Essay Contest for America's 250th Birthday. This contest is from the City of Racine's Mayor's Office.

Racine Unified high school seniors, your voice could become part of history.

In celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, the City of Racine is hosting an essay contest asking students to reflect on this question: What would you like to see in the next 50 years to help America become “a more perfect union”?

The essay should be 1,000 words and can be submitted to mayor@cityofracine.org by June 6!

Two graduating seniors will each receive a $2,500 scholarship, and winners will have the incredible opportunity to read their essay during this summer’s celebration and place it into the city’s official time capsule.

This is your chance to share your hopes, ideas and vision for the future of our country!
