Spring Season starts after Xmas Break. Walden’s Esports club is looking for JV teams this spring to compete in League of Legends and in OverWatch.  Good at Smash Bros? Good at Rocket League? We are looking to compete at the varsity level in those two games this spring. Come see us in room 302 during lunch to let us know you are interested. (JC) or contact jon.christian@rusd.org

Walden’s League of Legends team, Bubble Cap, participated in the High School Esports Invitational (HSEI) on Saturday in Chicago at the Fort Knox Studios.  This was the first time the team competed in person at an Esports event. They finished the day with a record of 1 win and 2 losses but they gained a lot of experience involving competing in public with their opponent directly across from them. Good job guys! (JC)

Walden’s Esports Club will still welcome players in Rocket League, Smash Bros, and junior varsity (9th and 10th graders) for OverWatch and League of Legends for the spring season.  If interested, stop in at lunch to room 301 (Jon C’s room). If I am not there, talk to our Esports student leaders or email jon.christian@rusd.org.
