Walden High School Students compete in Athletic activities through their boundary school in the Racine Unified School District. (Case, Park, Horlick)  Please contact the Athletics office at one of these schools for more information.


Walden Middle School participates in many intramural sports.  

Early Fall:  cross country for boys and girls as well as girls basketball
Late Fall:  boys and girls volleyball
Winter:  boys basketball
Spring:  boys and girls track

The above sports are all played in competition against the other public middle schools in Racine. 

An athletic physical and cost of the sport is required to participate.  $30.00 is the fee for each sport. ($25.00 is waviable if you have free or reduced lunch and you will need to fill out the Sharing Information Form available in the office.)

Practices take place after school.  Practice ends at 4:00pm.  Students need a ride home by 4:15pm.

Meets and games will take place at Walden or other apointed schools.  

Meets and games end between 5:15 and 6:00 P.M. and students will need a ride home from events including away games.  

Student Attendance Policy for Home Games: if students (Walden or visiting) would like to come cheer on any of our athletic teams, they must attend the event with their own parent or guardian.  Students attending the game must be in the gym for the duration of the game and must sit on the home side of the bleachers. Students who do not comply with our expectations will be asked to leave.
