As Racine continues to see an increase in COVID-19 cases, RUSD will begin the 2020-2021 school year (first-quarter; Sept. 1-Nov. 6) with 100% remote learning. Students will begin remote learning on September 1.

Since schools are closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, children who usually receive free or reduced-price school meals through the National School Lunch Program, or if they attend a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) School, may be eligible to receive temporary food benefits.
This Saturday, May 16, at 7 p.m., former President Barack Obama will deliver a commencement address to graduating seniors nationwide as part of an hour-long multimedia Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020 event.

Gov. Tony Evers announced that public schools are now closed indefinitely.
