Students at Olympia Brown welcomed some special guests last week!
Representatives from SC Johnson and special guests Scrubbing Bubbles® Scrubby and the Raid® bugs, along with Bango from the Milwaukee Bucks surprised students with a book delivery in support of the 20th annual Battle of the Books reading program.
Olympia Brown Elementary School had the most students volunteer to participate in Battle of the Books last year and were awarded a visit with these special guests!
Each fourth- and fifth-grade classroom in the Racine Unified School District will receive a box of 40 books. Each box will include every title on this year’s Battle of the Books reading list.
The group also visited Fratt & SC Johnson Elementary Schools.
RUSD would like to thank SC Johnson for their support of our students. We can’t wait to read every book on the list!
