We're thankful when students, families and staff members work together to help improve the lives of their fellow community members.

Walden III Middle and High School students, families and staff raised $10,500 and 605 boxes of food during their annual Thanksgiving fundraiser. During an all-school assembly, Walden students presented the donations to the Racine County Food Bank.  A representative from Racine County Food Bank thanked the students and staff for their efforts. He told the group that Walden's food drive is the second largest food drive in the county!

On Monday, all students and staff at The R.E.A.L. School formed chains across their building to transport and load the 315 boxes of food they had collected in addition to a $3,500 donation.  Then on Tuesday, they celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early by hosting a school-wide potluck lunch!
