Participation on Athletic Teams Requires All Fines and Fees Paid


Beginning with 2019-2020 winter sports, all fines and fees must be paid and/or waived prior to participating on an athletic team with the Racine Unified School District.  This includes current and previous school year fees as well as the Athletic Participation and Athletic Materials fees associated with the sport your child is participating in.

Administrative Regulation #3220 states,

Students who have outstanding fees and charges will not be allowed to use a student parking space at the high school, participate in commencement exercises, attend District dances and participate in District sponsored activities or on athletic teams.”

How can I view my child’s fees?

You can view your child’s fees by signing in to the Parent Portal online or on your mobile device and selecting Fees from the drop down menu on the left hand side of the screen.  If you do not have Parent Portal access, please visit your child’s school with a valid ID to obtain your access code. Please review our Fee Schedule for 2019-2020 here to determine which fees are subject to a waiver.

How do I pay?

Payment is due prior to your child being able to participate on the athletic team. These fees can be paid in person at your child’s school with cash or check or online with a credit card or eCheck at No processing fees apply!

Families who need to apply for the Free or Reduced Meal Program for the 19-20 school year will need to fill out an online application here. A completed Sharing Information with Other Programs form must be received in order to waive student fees. Please be sure to list all students in your household on the application and waiver. Fee waivers for previous school years must be on file in order to waive applicable fees and can be obtained via email or from your child’s school.
