Phi Delta Kappa Honors RUSD Staff and Students at Annual Awards Banquet


Several Racine Unified educators – both current and retired - were honored at the May 17 Phi Delta Kappa Awards Banquet held at the Racine Marriot Hotel. The honorees were recognized for excellence in education. Congratulations to the following:

Patricia Hammes, Case High School Coordinator of International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme
Dr. Lolli Haws, Superintendent of Schools

Dorothy Bridges-Goines, Title I Parent Involvement Coordinator 
Michelle Craig, Goodland Elementary School Fourth Grade Teacher

In addition, two Case High School seniors earned scholarships from Phi Delta Kappa. The Phi Delta Kappa Scholarship was awarded to Danielle Joyce Moore. The Joseph C. Mitchell Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Charles Clayton Julius. Both students plan to become teachers. 

The RUSD Comprehensive Counseling Program receives their award for Contemporary Education Programs 
from Master of Ceremonies, Dr. Jackson Parker, at Sunday's Phi Delta Kappa Awards Banquet.
