Park High School Key Club Earns $1,000 YAR Grant

Park High School Key Club has been hard at work to make their school more united. For many years the club has promoted community volunteerism and positive world change. Thanks to United Way's Youth as a Resource (YAR) grant, current Key Club students are going to kick off volunteer awareness at their school by bringing a guest speaker from the Gandhi Institute of Chicago in March.

Their project idea is to send a strong message to encourage others to get involved and to make a difference. They will promote their own message of encouragement, "Be the change; We are the future".
The Youth As Resources awarded the students with $1,000.00 to create t-shirts. T-shirts will include a positive and encouraging message.
