Forty Racine Case DECA students had the opportunity to experience the Emerging Leaders Conference (ELC) on November 12th and 13th at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. DECA is an international Career and Technical Student Organization offered in both high schools and colleges, that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Being a DECA member allows students to discover their true ambition, realize their college and career goals, and begin a journey of self-discovery.

The Racine Case chapter of DECA united with approximately 1,000 other DECA members in gaining valuable leadership skills, the opportunity to network with other members, and learn more about DECA competitive events.  There were two tracks for the conference. Racine Case DECA students were able to participate in the Senior Management Institute in which they learned advanced leadership practices. Other Case students participated in the traditional track of team building, leadership, and networking experiences. This conference was packed with engaging sessions, interactive breakouts, and plenty of opportunities to build his or her own personal network of Wisconsin DECA members and business professionals! The knowledge, skills, achievements, and experiences cultivated on this trip were truly limitless.
