Gifford Student, Alex Hart-Upendo, Wins State Merit In Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge
Discovery Education and 3M have announced that Alex Hart-Upendo, a fifth grade student from Gifford School (Racine Unified School District) has been named the state merit winner for Wisconsin in the Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge, the nation’s premier middle school science competition.
The Case High School Dance Team will hold a dance clinic on Thursday, August 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a game-time performance on Friday, August 17 at 5:30 p.m.

The REAL School hosted their 2nd Annual College Signing Day on Tuesday, April 25. The entire school was in attendance to make the connection between the classroom and college/career-readiness.

Several RUSD high school students are proving their success in and out of the classroom. Nine students from Case and Horlick High Schools earned Academic All-State honors from the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin.
Case High School is just one of six schools in Wisconsin and 76 schools in the United States selected for the Global Learning Top School award.
This summer, Case, Horlick and Park High Schools welcomed hundreds of freshmen to the week-long Summer Bridge Program. The Summer Bridge Program allows students to get familiar with their new school before that first day in September.
