RUSD Students Earn US History Awards


Several RUSD students earned 2017 US History Awards from the RUSD Social Studies Department and the Racine Heritage Museum.

Students are selected for this award based on their high achievement and interest in U.S. History in 9th grade. During a special ceremony, Case High School senior Lincoln Bargender talked about the importance of history, getting good grades and gave encouraging words to ninth grade students.

From Horlick High School: Colvin Kuehnl, Hannah Bartelt, Brayden Cespuglio, Jacob Laitinen, Danielle Christensen and Mackenzie Reischl.
From Walden III High School: Jordan Lou, Emaleigh Neo and Paige Allen.
From Case High School: Zachary Lavassor, Hailey Gapko, Alyssa Martin, Fernando Rojas-Luna, Destiny Klinkhammer and Marcus Webber.
From Park High School: Victoria Rodriguez, Vanesa Lopez, Logan Downing, Adonis French, Malia Halkowitz and Alexander Verschueren.
