RUSD Celebrates More Than 1,840 Years of Service

On Thursday, May 9, RUSD celebrated more than 1,840 years of service at the annual Retirement Appreciation Dinner. This year, RUSD says farewell to 73 retirees in the 2018-2019 school year.

During the dinner, Superintendent Dr. Eric Gallien congratulated the retirees on a fantastic career.

“This year our theme has been Every Moment Counts. That statement comes to mind as I look around this room tonight. Just consider the thousands and thousands of moments you have made count with students in your collective time in the District,” Dr. Gallien said.

Board of Education President Brian O’Connell also addressed the group thanking them for their dedication and commitment to RUSD.

We’d like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our 2018-2019 retirees for their years of contribution towards Raising Racine. Your legacy is lasting and will continue for generations.

Congratulations on your retirement!
