Students attending Walden III are permitted to compete in athletic activities through other schools in the Racine Unified School District. For more information, please contact the activities director of your student's home school.

Walden Middle School participates in many intramural sports.
Early Fall:  cross country for boys and girls and girls basketball
Late Fall:  boys and girls volleyball
Winter:  boys basketball
Spring:  boys and girls track
The above sports are all played in competition against the other public middle schools in town.  Practices take place after school and activity buses are not provided.
Other activities middle school kids can participate in after school include:
floor hockey
fitness center workouts
These two activities are enjoyed by Walden students at our building.
Practices and in-building activities end 4 P.M.
Meets and games end between 5:15 and 6:00 P.M. and students need a ride home from the event.

Although we are by far the smallest school in the district, Walden has just as many, if not more, participants in all of these events except basketball.  Walden has often won the city meets in both cross country and track.
