On Feb. 10, two RUSD automotive students competed in the Auto Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee (ADAMM) state competition.
All RUSD students may sign up for a free ACT Prep Class at any of the three high schools. The classes will run from 8 am - 2pm on Saturdays.

The transition from middle school to high school is an excited time – one that can be overwhelming for any student. That’s why Racine Unified is once again offering the Summer Bridge Program for all incoming freshmen.

Application forms are now available for this year’s Racine PTA Council scholarship program. Approximately 20 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to graduating seniors in the Racine Unified School District.
The Lighthouse Brigade of Racine is hosting an open house Thursday, Feb. 4, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Mitchell Middle School cafeteria (Door K), 2701 Drexel Ave. The night will serve as an informational evening about the organization and provide material about the junior and senior summer marching bands.
The Washington Park High School Jazz Department presents its annual Jazz Festival on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. in the John Burns Theater. The concert will feature the McKinley Jazz Ensemble, directed by Mr. John Schoettler. Also performing will be Park Jazz I and Jazz II, directed by Mr. David Kapralian.
Starting January 25th, Park will begin the process of scheduling students for the upcoming school year. On Tuesday, Jan. 26, Freshmen will receive recommendation forms and the course listing in their US History class.
