Athletics

Walden High School Students compete in athletic activities through their boundary school in the Racine Unified School District. (Case, Park, Horlick)

Walden Middle School participates in many intramural sports.

Early Fall:  cross country for boys and girls as well as girls basketball
Late Fall:  boys and girls volleyball
Winter:  boys basketball
Spring:  boys and girls track

The above sports are all played in competition against the other public middle schools in Racine.

An athletic physical and cost of the sport is required to participate.

Practices take place after school.  Practice ends at 4:00pm.  Students need a ride home by 4:15pm.

Meets and games will take place at other middle schools or assigned locations in Racine.

Meets end between 5:15 and 6:00 P.M. and students need a ride home from the event.

Although we are by far the smallest school in the district, Walden has just as many, if not more, participants in all of these sports.

Walden has often won the city meets in both cross country and track.
