RUSD to Offer Free ACT Prep Course This Summer

A free ACT half-credit prep course is being offered this summer by the Racine Unified School District.

The 12-day course will be held twice:

Session 1 Course #7752S Section 101: June 15 – July 7

Session 2 Course #7752S Section 102: July 11 – July 28

Students choose one session to attend. The course will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gilmore Middle School, 2330 Northwestern Ave. Beverages and snacks are allowed. Students who were sophomores or juniors during the 2015-16 school year are eligible to attend. Space is limited. Students should sign up by clicking here or see their guidance counselor for assistance.

Participants will be taught by experienced/certified teachers trained in Princeton Review ACT Prep strategies to specifically assist students in learning the essential study skills needed to do well on the ACT test. They will be taught strategies and time management skills and gain the knowledge and the tools needed to excel on the exam. Participants will have the opportunity to practice by taking official ACT practice tests.
