  • All Cross Country runners please get your washed jerseys turned in to Mr. Mendez As Soon As Possible. Make sure that they are fresh and clean! They need to be turned in at the latest Thursday Nov. 2nd. We will be using them for Track and Field in the Spring, but we need to inventory them now. Mr. Mendez is in room 157 (By the nurse).

  • FOLK FAIR!

  • Attention 7th and 8th graders; If you want to go on the Cave Trip that will take place January 5th-7th you must attend one of the meetings with your parent/guardian. The meetings will take place next week Monday Nov. 6 and Tuesday Nov. 7 at 7:00 pm in the cafeteria and Thursday Nov. 9 at 7:00 pm in room 101. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Rodriguez in room 305 or Ms. Pajic in room 59

  • Opportunities to catch the introduction to mindfulness will happen throughout the week during enrichment. Students should arrive no later than 8:45 to the choir room. Teachers are welcome too.

  • FOLK FAIR! It’s going to be here before you know it. Get those permission slips in!

  • Skating field trip is quickly approaching. If you don’t have your signed permission slips in, you will miss out on the fun!

  • Wednesday, Mckinley Vikings 8th grade girls basketball team play against Gifford Middle FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP @ GIFFORD starting at 4pm following our game will be the 7th grade girls playing gifford 7th grade girls. Lady please be on time to class RESPECT YOUR TEACHERS. Make sure you have on your shooter shirt WITH NO SLIPPERS ON (REMEMBER THIS IS THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)... Thank you Ladies for all you hard work you do on and off the court thanks for being a student athlete…. LOVE YOU ALL FOR MR.SANDERS………………..   

  • Girls volleyball tryouts will be held next week Monday through Thursday from 4 to 5 pm in the gym all girls in 7th and 8th grade are welcome.  If you have any questions, please ask Mr. Moore or Mr. Halliday down in the gym.

  • Attention students, After Zone will be cancelled Thursday due to early release.

  • 8th grade girl’s basketball played Gifford last night. What an incredible game for both sides! Even though we didn’t get the win, the 8th grade girls played with hustle and heart. You are all winners in our book. The scores don’t matter...at the end of the game, you played like champions. You are all my champions. Thank you girls, with love, Mr Sanders.

  • Students, conferences begin tonight and continue tomorrow. Although you do not have school during those times, we want to see you here with your parent or guardian, and you get to tell them how great you are doing in school. If you aren’t doing as great as you hoped, you should probably be the one to explain that to your parents, too. It’s all good.
