  • Attention, After Zone Students. After Zone is cancelled on Wednesday, November 29th. Please notify your family members.

  • Calling all young ladies!!! If you are looking for something positive to join, that will teach you life skills, help you with your goals, get encouraged, receive help, and have group discussions about situations that goes on in a girl’s life, while having fun, then join Sister’s Empowerment held on Mondays and Wednesdays during After Zone. Signup sheet will be in the office. You can only sign up before or after school.

  • Please come and support your McKinley Vikings Tuesday as they open their volleyball season against Walden.  Thursday, we will be playing against Gilmore.  Both games are at McKinley.

  • Popcorn will be sold outside the girls’ locker room on Wednesdays and Thursdays after school. The bags will be $1 each.

  • SAT will meet in room 120 today during homeroom Thursday. If you have any questions please see Ms. Ade or Ms. Sykes.

  • Reminder to 7th and 8th graders that the forms and money for the cave trip are due one week from this Friday!

  • Congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade boys Volleyball teams. The 8th grade team defeated Walden 5 sets to 0 as the 7th grade team tied in some  grueling matches ending with 2 wins, 2 loses, and a tie. While our 8th grade girls won in an exhilarating 5th game set to defeat Walden 3-2.  Our 7th grade girls also fought hard to pull out some victories also.  Congrats again to all of our boys and girls volleyball players.  Just remember to show respect to all teachers and adults while getting all of our school work done on time!

  • Attention Students: School is over at 3:35. You MUST be out of the building by 3:45. That gives you 10 minutes to get your things and leave. The only exceptions are if you are in Afterzone(except for today) or if you have permission to stay with a teacher. Once you leave the building you cannot come back in. If any student allows another student into the building he/she will have consequences.
