The ABC’s of Standards Based Learning
Jacquelyn Moga, Executive Director of Assessment, Racine Unified School District

Parents and families will learn about the state assessments that help our schools measure if students are meeting goals for what they should know and be able to do at a specific grade level so they can graduate college and/or career ready. Parents will gain a deeper understanding of state and district assessments.

I’m Every Woman

Whole Body Stress, Whole Body Healing

Focus on Fathers
YMCA

A group based fatherhood initiative that is designed to assist low income, minority, and non-custodial fathers with the skills and attitudes to become more nurturing towards their children.

Black Girls
Dark Girls Documentary Viewing & Panel Discussion
RUSD Office of Family & Community Engagement                   

Features lived experiences associated with social identity and image faced by dark-skinned girls & women.  Explores the roots of classism, racism and the lack of self-esteem.
