Free or Reduced Meals

Free or Reduced Meals Eligibility

To qualify for free or reduced lunch, parents/guardians must complete an application yearly. Only one application should be filled out for each household. If you have received a letter in the mail that your child has automatically qualified, a paper application is not needed.

If your child attends a school that participates in CEP, receipt of free breakfast and lunch meals does not depend on returning this application. However, this information is necessary for other programs and may be used to determine if your household is eligible for additional benefits.

Applications for the 2017-2018 school year can be submitted after July 1st, 2017. If your household size or income changes at any time during the school year, please submit an updated application.

You may now submit your Free or Reduced Meal Application online.  If you have been notified that your children automatically qualify for free or reduced meals or submitted a paper application already, please do not submit an online application. 

Applications can also be picked up in the main office of your child’s school, at the Administrative Service Campus or online here:

Completed paper applications can be turned in to the main office of your child’s school or delivered to the Food Service office at the Administrative Service Center.  Mail completed applications to:

Once your application has been processed, you will be notified of the result via mail.

The income guidelines for the 2017-2018 can be found here. Your children may qualify for free or reduced price meals if your total gross household income (before deductions) falls at or below the limits on this chart.
