The RUSD Aquatic Center features a 10-lane competitive pool, a dedicated diving well and a 4-lane multipurpose pool. Lap swimming is in our big pool, which is 7 feet deep and you can swim laps for 25 yards per length. Open swim is in our smaller pool, which is 3-5 feet. You can do non-lap swim activities such as relaxation, water aerobics or any water-friendly activity. Open Dive takes place in our 7–14-foot-deep diving well and includes access to both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards. (A swim test is required during each session and includes a 20-yard front swim, a 20–30-second tread or float, and safely climbing out of the pool.)
